I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their great
patience and understanding as we move thru this incredible transition period
from our CSUSIS system to using the Banner Information System.

While there are many places to seek out information on the banner system, many
users have found that by creating your own PERSONAL MENU on the system, you can
create your own small banner information system menu, suited just for your own
interests and needs, and making it a bit easier to find things:

The Personal Menu form is GUAPMNU.



When you log into banner, in the DIRECT ACCESS box, type GUAPMNU.

This will bring you to the above form to begin to move forms from the main list
to your personal menu area.

You may scroll down the list of forms available and then simply click on/to hi-
lite the form you wish to “move” over to your menu, and then click on the ->
arrow in the middle of the form.



Then SAVE your change by clicking on the YELLOW diskette icon on the top left
of the icon toolbar above the form. (see below):



Then you can use the RED “exit” door to back up to view your personal menu to
see that you have added the correct banner form to your menu area.




Continue to build your personal menu with forms you wish to add to it, by
repeating the process described above.

Once you have built your personal menu, you may go directly to it when you log
into the banner system rather than trying to navigate through the much larger
Products Menu areas. (See next page):
